Rubatsiro Ministries was born out of the challenge found in Isaiah 58, in the Bible. It is a practical and spiritual response to the very real needs of millions of Zimbabweans who may otherwise be forgotten by the international community. Rubatsiro means “helping hands” in the Shona language (spoken in Zimbabwe) and we feel burdened to provide what help we can to those in desperate need. The needs in Zimbabwe are massive and range from providing food, clothing, blankets, medicines, and assistance with medical and school fees.

Rubatsiro Ministries is a Christian Trust registered with the Charities Commission, registration # CC46029. The Trust is based in New Zealand and links with its partners in Zimbabwe primarily to meet the needs of widows, orphans and pensioners. The trust exists to collect financial donations from those concerned in New Zealand and to distribute the funds to our partners in Zimbabwe. We currently partner with one organisation in Zimbabwe (see Ministry Partners) and work with a specifically chosen group of trusted people in Zimbabwe.

The Trust’s initial goal is to raise NZ$1000 a month, which equates to fifty people giving $20 a month. Rubatsiro Ministries assures you that 100% of your donation will be allocated to our activities in Zimbabwe.
